Canon Power(s): Up to the player of FF 7. She has high speed, a boomerang chakram, and her limit breaks. She is known as a klepto who robs the materia and money of the party.
Modified Power: Capable of teleporting objects a short range instantaneously. This can be used defensively, such as a way to disarm an opponent, or offensively, simply by moving objects in the way or moving people to a dangerous spot or trap. She has been known to use this for practical jokes, often setting things on fire and teleporting them into peoples pockets. Due to her kleptomania, she often uses this to steal wallets from people in the street; she also likes teleporting people’s clothes off their bodies. She has a juvie record and is constantly watched to make sure she doesn't return to her thieving ways, not that it has ever stopped her.
The bigger the object the more syn energy expended in the process. It is easy to pilfer a wallet, but she can never move a building. Since the object travels from point A to point B instantly, any living thing teleported goes through a rapid transition and is often affected by motion sickness. She has grown slightly used to it, but can never teleport herself more then a few times (4 is her best record) without keeling over and puking. She can teleport multiple objects at once, the effort being proportional to the combined weight of the objects.
Since two objects cannot exist in the same spot in the same space in time, when she teleports an object onto/into another object, an equivalent amount of space (but not mass) must be displaced. Usually the equivalent space is the air of the spot she is porting, but it can also be an exchange as odd as paper for a person. The two exchanged objects don’t need to be equal in mass; the affected object just needs to be displaced. It is about space not weight.

History: Born to a white thrash poor hick family in Bloomington, Minnesota. Being born an only child, not like her parents could afford her let alone two kids, you figure she would be loved and spoiled, but nothing could be further from the truth. Her dad was a heavy drinker, and would spend most of his earnings on booze and lottery tickets. Her mom usually made up for his spending by turning tricks to make ends meet, though half her earnings went to cigarettes.
Yuffie was used to not getting any support from her parents and worked hard to learn to fend for herself, often resorting to stealing to get by and actually eat everyday. Yuffie had trouble keeping friends because she kept stealing from them. She prided herself on her thieving skills and wants to grow up to be a master thief and a ninja; she was inspired by all the ninja movies she saw on T.V. at the mall. Seeing as to how Ninjitsu isn’t a common martial art practice in the states, she took to learning Juijitsu figuring it was close enough. She often steals money from the same dojo she studies in to pay for her own lessons.
After seeing a documentary on how serial killers make a lot of money by selling books on how they did it, she gets the “brilliant” notion to try and become famous by showcasing her thieving talents to the world. She stole a video camera and began broadcasting her acts on youtube and eventually her own website. After a failed attempt and arrest, she figured she would give up on her stardom. It was that same night of her arrest that she discovered her syn ability. While trying to reach out and grab the keys to her cell from the sleeping guard, she had closed her eyes and suddenly felt the keys in her hand. At first she thought she could move objects with telekinesis, but after some testing (and a fun night of screwing with the police) she discovered her ability to teleport almost anything.
She kept it a secret at first, but after she went back to filming again, she became infamous for stealing without technically stealing. This was something hard to define by the law and made it difficult to convict her. All most stores could do was keep an eye on her and kick her out if they suspected anything. After having “saved” up enough money, Yuffie decided to emancipate herself from her family (they have yet to notice) and head for New Amsterdam. She wants to get stronger with her ability and eventually get her dream of becoming a world famous ninja thief.
